THE ITALIANS ORGANIZED A FANTASTIC EVENT IN CASTIGLIONE DELLA PESCAIA (PHOTO + Grande)

The largest veterans tournament of Europe, the European Veteran Rollerhockey Invitational Cup, this time in the Italian Castiglione della Pescaia from 8 to 10 October, it has been a great success. The matches in the categories 35 + and 50 + gave for the players and spectators in Palazzetto Caso Mora many play-and viewing pleasure. In the category 35 + showed C.T. Barcino from Barcelona the strongest team while in the 50 + category the Italian H.C. Castiglione della Pescaia Veterani.

The Jaime Labory Memorial Cup The Spaniard Jaime Labory, who died in 2008 was in 2003 one of the founders of the European Veteran Invitational Cup. Out of respect for this man is in 2009 the Jaime Labory Memorial Cup set and this time the trophy went to the organizer of the 15e Edition of the EVRICup, Hockey Club Castiglione della Pescaia.

International EVRICup Committee To such a large event streamlining is there by the participating teams a Committee composed. The Dutchman Ben Veerman (Zaandam) leads the International EVRICup Committee (I.E.C.) what especially in the months leading up to a new edition of the EVRICup has frequent contact with the organizing committee. During the event there is a delegates meeting where representatives of the participating teams are the rules of the EVRICup discuss and updating.

Following editions In order to give sufficient organization preparation are the following EVRICup editions already established. The annual event will be in 2011 in Sintra (Portugal). Netherlands (Valkenswaard) is the host in 2012 and 2013, the event in Herne Bay (England).
